What Jetwren does for you

  • Never miss a gate change

Get a notification the moment your gate is assigned or changes, when a delay grows or shrinks, and when you land. On iPhone and Android, your flight's countdown, gate and status sit on your lock screen from a few hours before departure.

Flight data comes from our flight data provider and can occasionally lag behind the airport. Always follow airport announcements.

  • Don't pay fees you don't have to

Budget airlines open and close free online check-in at different times, and their cabin bag rules depend on the fare you booked. Jetwren reminds you when free check-in opens and before it closes, and shows which bag you can take on board. We start with the budget airlines our first users fly most and add more airlines region by region.

Airline rules change. Each rule shows when we last checked it and a link to the airline's own page. Please confirm with your airline before you fly.

  • Delayed? You may be owed compensation

After a long delay, a cancellation or being denied boarding, Jetwren checks your flight against passenger rights laws such as EU261 and UK261, with more regions coming. Under EU261, that can mean €250 to €600 depending on the distance (£220 to £520 under UK261). Jetwren explains what you may be owed in plain English, and if no law covers your flight, it says so. Claim directly with the airline using our free letter template, or use a claims partner if you'd rather someone else handled it.

Compensation depends on the law that covers your flight and on the circumstances. Airlines often don't have to pay when the cause was outside their control, such as severe weather. Jetwren gives an estimate, not legal advice.

  • Family can follow, no app needed

Send a link on WhatsApp or by message. Whoever opens it sees your flight's live status, progress and landing time in their browser. No download, no sign-up. Links stop working 24 hours after you land, and you can switch them off at any time.

Shared pages never show your name or booking details.

  • Every airline, one app

Type a flight number or scan your boarding pass. No account and no email needed to get started. Your boarding pass is read on your phone, and your name never leaves it.

Free where it matters

Flight tracking, alerts, sharing and the compensation check are free. An optional Pro plan will add extras such as more active trips and delay history. We'll share pricing before launch.

Questions and answers

When will Jetwren be available?

We're building it now. Waitlist members will hear first. We'll email you when it's ready to download, and we won't email you about anything else unless you've told us that's fine.

Is it free?

Yes. Tracking flights, alerts, sharing your flight and checking for compensation are free. There will be an optional Pro plan with extras; the basics will stay free.

Does it work on Android?

Yes. Jetwren is being built for Android and iPhone at the same time.

Does it work in my country?

Yes. Flight tracking, alerts and sharing work for any scheduled flight, wherever you live. Times, dates, units and currency follow your phone's settings. Some features depend on local rules: the check-in and bag rules and the compensation checker cover the major airlines and passenger rights laws first, and expand region by region.

Which airlines does it work with?

You can track any scheduled flight, on any airline, anywhere in the world, with a flight number. Check-in reminders and cabin bag rules already cover many budget and popular airlines, such as Ryanair, easyJet, Wizz Air, Southwest, Frontier, AirAsia, IndiGo, flydubai and Jetstar, with more added all the time.

Do I need an account?

No. You can add a flight without an email address or password. If you want to use Jetwren on more than one device later, you'll be able to sign in.

What data does Jetwren keep about me?

As little as possible. We keep the flights you follow and your notification settings so we can send you alerts. We don't store your name from your boarding pass, your home location or images of your boarding pass on our servers. You can export or delete everything from the app at any time.

How does the compensation checker work?

When a flight arrives very late, is cancelled or you're denied boarding, Jetwren checks which passenger rights law covers it, based on where you flew from and to, the airline and the distance. It starts with EU261 and UK261, with more regions coming. It then shows what you may be owed and how to claim, or tells you plainly that no compensation law covers the flight. You can always claim directly with the airline for free.

Do you earn money from claims or other partners?

Sometimes. If you choose to claim through one of our partners, or book through a partner link, we may receive a fee from them. It doesn't change what you pay, and we always show the free option to claim directly with the airline as well.

Is Jetwren connected to any airline?

No. Jetwren is independent and isn't affiliated with or endorsed by any airline or airport.

Can someone follow my flight without me sharing it?

Anyone can look up a public flight number, just as they can on an airport website. Your personal trip, seat and booking details are only visible to you.
